New Beginning....

This has been a very special weekend. On Friday Bradfield and I closed on some land. So we are now land owners...which is exciting for us. (there are some very scary things that come along with this of course:)) But the neat part is that this is a "new beginning" for us. This is where we plan to live and eventually build our home. This is where we plan to raise our family and create so many special memories. There is so much meaning behind the land.

This weekend we spent some time working on the land. Draining the pond (or trying), clearing trees, taking down fence and getting ready to build a road. We have lot of work ahead of us, but the neat thing about it is that we are working to build "our lives"...."our home" I have done a lot of work like this in the past but it has always been for my dad and the work seems no different, but it is.....it's different, kinda weird, but great!

I will try to get some pictures and post soon!

aw, yay! I'm so glad this finally came through for y'all!

We've got to have a phone convo soon so I can get the full scoop!

You've said all along that everything would fall into place at the right time and for the right reasons, and I think it is, my friend....

I'm so happy for y'all and can't wait to hear all the details.

Miss & Love You!!

I'm catching up on blogging. FB has seemed to take its place lately and I'm missing the bloggin world and my blogging friends. It's fun to catch up with you here. Where is your land in Hope Hull? I'm so excited you're coming "home"!! Do you know boy or girl yet? I can't remember your due date. I hope to get back to posting on my 3 blogs again soon but right now I'm just "visiting" others'. As you probably know, my mother passed away June 11 and I've been so focused on taking care of her and now things of hers afterwards. It is a big job and takes up all of my time right now. I miss her so much. She was such a good mother (and grandmother). But I'm so happy for you and Bradfield and all your families. I will continue to visit to keep updated on you and yours. Love you.
