I always knew that a parent's love for their child was huge...I had no idea. I used to imagine how much I would love my kids....imagination doesn't touch it.

Ellis Ann is doing wonderful. She has started sleeping through the nights. She still wakes up a lot of nights at about 3 or so but I can usually put her back to sleep until 5 or 6. We are trying to get out of the swaddling stage, but that has been hard because her arms wake her up. When she wakes up at night she won't go back to sleep unless something is holding her arms. So she usually ends up in the bed with me or I swaddle her. But last night we had a first. She slept through the entire night without being swaddled.

She smiles all the time and every smile is a gift from God that makes me melt:) This is a picture that one of my student's took at a basketball game.
