Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frank MadarisThis is my brother and as of Saturday sister in law Nancy Haney Madaris. They got married this weekend in Macon, GA. Everything went wonderful. We are excited for them and happy they are married. Also, glad it's over and we can all relax a little. Between us moving and them getting married I think my family is going to go bonkers. But after this weekend, life can be even a little more simple once again....until something else comes up:)
Everything was beautiful and everyone had a great time. I have to share this "moment" with you all though. So yes I'm pregnant but....so what. This was a very special day for my brother. Well, I did almost make this day a little more memorable. I don't want to be one of those pregnant people that everyone has to dote over and such. But I did have my moment at the wedding where it was a little necessary.......
I posted this picture so you could see where I was standing. (at the very top right) Well it was 6 cst in the evening and about the middle of the wedding I got a little hot. Well the heat, standing still, nerves, whatever by the end of the wedding had gotten to me. Towards the end I started feeling a little queasy, was beginning to get worried and anxious. Just kept telling myself just make it a few more minutes.....well by the end my eyes were blurry and my ears were ringing. I was terrified I wasn't going to make it down the stairs. I started reaching for Bradfield's hand. He realized I wasn't ok and I just told him, "Just help me down the stairs". I couldn't hardly see or hear but I made it (not very gracefully leaning on Bradfield). I was quite embarrassed by the attention I got when I got down but I must say it was greatly needed. Some people couldn't even tell I wasn't feeling well, they just thought I was overcome with emotions. While others stared down the aisle and watched to see if the "pregnant girl" was going to make it as a chair was rushed my way.So that's my weekend excitement.
Congratulations to Charlie and Nancy! So happy for you!!

The same thing somewhat happened to me at my brother's wedding this past Spring. I hadn't eaten ALL day and at the wedding, I almost passed out! Thanks to another groomsman who held me up, I was fine and Steve helped me get down the aisle! I don't think anyone noticed though - that was when Steve said, we can't ever let you get that hungry....here I am 35 lbs heavier :-)
I'm so glad to see some pics from their wedding..how sweet and happy Charlie looks!
Kat, you are such a trooper with everything going on...ahh, just add this to the list right? So sorry you had to go through that, but thank goodness you were ok and made it down! Sure wish I could see that baby bump {or oval ;) as you call it} a little better!
MT...that is so funny that the exact thing happened to you. I was lucky that my husband was my escort. :)
Laurel, the photographer helped me out. He was so excited, he came and told me during the reception....he got a belly shot of me, i was standing waiting to walk down the aisle and was holding the bouquet right below my belly. He got a belly shot, not face...but it was good. so if nothing else, i will have that pic to fall back on. :)
Yay! I am so glad to finally hear from you again! You looked beautiful at your brother's wedding. Blue is your color!
I was glad to see pics, too. I knew he was getting married but didn't realize it was this weekend. I saw on FB where he went to Hawaii. Now it all comes together! Nancy is very pretty and they make a very cute couple. Will they live here as our neighbors? Glad you made it through it all.
I'm so glad you were ok and Bradfield was right beside you!!! I thought you were going to say you fainted and fell down the steps!! Oh my! Glad you're better. Love and miss you!!
What a blessing to have your entire family together!! I assume they're in Hawaii for honeymoon? Charlie looks very happy :)
