Vacation

This weekend Bradfield and I had a little vacation. Nobody really knows we left, we just flew out to this fantastic tropical place. Here are a couple pictures we took.

I have never been much of an "artsy" picture taker, but i could not resist this picture looking up at the light pearing through.

Bradfield and I have not taken a lot of pictures lately, so we were excited to get some good pictures.

So now would you like me to tell you what we really did this weekened......well it was like vacation. It was the first time since I can remember that we stayed at home the entire weekend, with nothing pressing we needed to do and nowhere we had to be. We got done what we needed to do and just enjoyed being at home, relaxing, and enjoying the weather. On Sunday afternoon, Bradfield and I and two other couples rode around on some of our neighbors(one of the couples we were with) land. We rode by this sugar can thicket and were all making comments about it and how neat it was and I said " I want to climb in there." So Bradfield stopped everybody and told them i wanted to go inside it and I think we were all glad we did. It was kinda intimidating stepping in because you could not tell what was going to be in there, but once you got inside the thicket it was like you were in another world. Our weekend "vacation"! Ha!

This is Karen and I. Karen is one of my dearest friends in Society Hill.

I would have guessed that was the bamboo forest in Prattville! It looks like bamboo. Boy, those are some huge sugarcane thingamajigs! You and Bradfield are such a cute couple. Your pics are great, all of them, but I especially like that one with the light coming thru, too! Good job!
